Hey everyone! I hope you all had the nicest week! I am typing away from Toronto this morning, then hoping to head down to Miami this afternoon! The weather doesn’t look perfect, but I’m looking forward to the warmer temps, as all of my recent travels have been to very chilly locations!
We hosted our first-ever Canadian book signing, and it really was so special! It was a bit smaller than previous signings, so it felt more intimate. It allowed me to spend more time meeting everyone, and it was certainly such a fun night! Our Canadian community is the nicest bunch. It really did feel so special!
Before Toronto, I stopped quickly in New York for a meeting at an event celebrating my friend Antoni’s new National Geographic show, No Taste Like Home with Antoni Porowski. Antoni has been such a good friend over the years. He first helped me host a book signing in New York during our Super Simple book tour. Then, over the last few years, he’s shown me around New York. I was so excited to celebrate his new show with him!
It’s a beautiful series that invites viewers to join Antoni as he guides celebrity guests on an individual journey to explore their ancestral gastronomic roots.
From the streets of Italy to the jungles of Borneo, each episode explores the rich heritage tied to beloved family recipes. The series follows actresses and actors such as Awkwafina, Henry Golding, Florence Pugh, Justin Theroux, and more! It’s fun, heartfelt, and full of the yummiest dishes. You’ll really find a lot unpacked in this show. It’s very unique and very different from other food shows.
Heading into Miami now, or trying to anyway!
My family, on the other hand, is in Palm Springs for the week! They were meant to be in Calgary, watching my brother Red compete at a World Cup (update: he got 2nd). However, after days of snow, the storms in Colorado caused their flights to be canceled. Only Red (and later Malachi) were able to make it out. Since they would have missed all of the qualifying rounds, everyone else pivoted in the opposite direction and opted for sunshine and dessert over more snow. Sounds like we’re all ready for warmer weather after some bitterly cold winter days.
Has anyone started to plan any fun spring trips? Or are you staying put? I’m happy Easter is in April this year. I’m excited to celebrate. Maybe the family will head to Florida like we used to as kids! Palm Beach is my ultimate favorite spring break destination. Or the Bahamas! So many wonderful memories. Hopefully, a trip to visit my Grandpa in one of those places.
Below, I’m sharing some photos of recent travels. And, finally, a small studio update! Yes, it finally feels REAL, and I’m excited to share it with you over the next handful of months.
I think that’s all for today. Enjoy the Favorite’s post and happy Sunday!
What are you looking forward to this spring? It’s almost here!
1. Things I’m loving, wanting, and excited to try.
everything in my cart (low)…some new Zara picks. If you’re looking for a suede coat, try their new 100% suede leather blazer. It’s more expensive for a Zara find but a great price point for a real suede jacket.
I adore this pretty bouclé skort and jacket combo. This is a cozy soft knit sweater for spring (it comes in multiple colors).
Accessory-wise, here’s an incredible suede tote that looks like it would be great for travel!
listening to…Not Going to Lie with Kylie Kelce.
. I think Kylie is great, and I’m really enjoying her new podcast, also listening to…
. I’m now thinking I need to talk to a life coach!dreaming of going…I sent this to my mom: here! It’s called Sugar Beach, and the house looks just big enough for the family (and then some, it’s massive). One can dream!
. How amazing would it be to staybest-kept secret…Zara home. I swear! I turn to them so often, and their new collection is so great! These ceramic plates are really fun. I’d skip the fish design, but love the plain plate! I think this is the cutest stoneware butter dish and I would love to style spring flowers in this stoneware pitcher.
Zara Home has the best glassware, loving these glass cups with a raised design.
And I need this brushed blanket to snuggle with at home. How cute and cozy!
having fun with…
. When I was a kid I spent so much time making fashion collages with magazine cutouts. I LOVE this new feature Pinterest is offering and am excited to continue to explore it! This is also a cool place to make a mood board or vision board. I could spend hours doing these!travel…
. So stunning. Maybe someday! My brother Brendan and his wife Lyndsie went to Thailand on their honeymoon. They really enjoyed their time there!everything in my cart (beauty)…I don’t wear perfume, but I have to say that this Chloé L’Eau de Parfum Intense with Raspberry, Rose & Amber sounds like a really lovely spring/summer scent.
I’ve really been enjoying this body butter from Primarily Pure. It feels so nice and soothing on my overly dry skin. And I never choose scented moisturizers, but the vanilla is beautiful and doesn’t bother my skin.
watching…
new brand I love…Halfdays. Founded by Olympian Kiley McKinnon and Ariana Ferwerda. This has become one of my favorite outerwear brands. If you have a ski trip coming up, be sure to check their pieces out. This brand is so fun, and it’s fully designed in Colorado too! I’m eyeing this Parka, but I need a new puffer too! I also love their knit beanies.
everything in my cart (high)…never thought I would say this, but I kind of love this Flatform Sandal from The Row. I swear, my mom used to have a similar pair growing up! And I love the new Marlo Tote Bag also from The Row. What a gorgeous bag.
something fun…

My travel go-to’s: Cymbiotika Magnesium L Threonate, Armra, Vital Proteins (I recently started learning more about different metals in protein and collagen powders – I’m currently researching different brands to find out what’s best). Epic venison beef strips, and Cymbiotika B12, D3, and The Omega. And lastly, I think colostrum is the secret to health.

5. The Studio – a small update.
We finally have progress! I got to see a lot of the structural changes last week. Finally, I was really able to visualize the new space! I can truly say that I’m so excited. I was nervous before because I was having a hard time with decisions, but I can’t wait to share this with you and soon be back working in my space!
We still have a few months of construction left, but it’s coming along! I’m going to share some more details soonish, I think I’ll do a dedicated post.
And when this space is complete, we will start my house!
this is my favorite sneak peek – the soon-to-be new pantry!
