Nine Favorite Things
Happy Mother’s Day! If you’re lucky, you’re spending today with your mom—or if you’re a mom yourself, being showered with love! Either way, I’m sending love to all the amazing women reading—whether you’re a mom, a mother figure, or someone who simply shows up with love and care every day, I hope today feels extra special.
My sweet mom is everyone’s rock. She brings us all together, she creates memories, and she loves us all more than she probably should. Growing up as the only girl with three older brothers and two younger brothers, it was a constant fight for my mom’s attention. I wanted nothing more than to be with my mom pretty much 24/7. She’s been my best friend since day one, and today it’s crazy to see what we have built together.
After 13+ years of working with my mom, I can say there is no one I truly value or love more (though I don’t always show it). She embodies a true super mom. She is my best friend, my therapist, and so much more. I am the luckiest to have her and while working so closely with your mom is very difficult, I feel even luckier I get to do so!
To all the moms reading today, I hope your day is spent just the way YOU want it. Pamper yourself, spend time with the people who bring you joy, and give yourself a pat on the back!
Have a wonderful Sunday, and to all the moms – enjoy your day!

everything in my cart (beauty)…as I slowly learn about fragrance, I’ve loved trying new-to-me perfumes. The brand Phlur never fails to impress. For the summer, I’m going to use Golden Rule. I also love the brand’s original scent, Missing Persons and then, Father Figure too. I want to try Vanilla Skin next. They’re all on sale at Nordstrom today too!
My mom always says your hands show age the most, so I’m definitely excited to try Habelo’s Activating Hand Serum – packed with bioactive ingredients and the HAB-1 Multi-Peptide Complex, it targets visible signs of aging, boosts hydration, and restores elasticity.
I love the Emi Jay Heavenly Hair Towel (I have it in buttercup). And for all the skin girls out there willing to spend, I want to try the brand AUTEUR product. Starting with their Definitive Eye Cream. It’s designed to rejuvenate and fortify the delicate eye area. It instantly replenishes moisture and restores a refreshed, radiant look while defending against environmental damage and signs of photoaging. I’m certainly here for that!

5. Life Updates!
Many of you have been asking about the renovations and where I’ll be heading once they begin. To backtrack a bit, we’re finishing up the construction portion of the studio renovations. Originally, it was all scheduled to be completed by the end of April, but as with most projects, a few delays popped up—things like counters and a custom brass sink took longer than expected.
I was originally supposed to be moved out of my house by May 1st, but those delays pushed that back too. So for now, I’m still in Colorado. I’m hesitant to share any solid plans because, honestly, they keep changing. I’m not totally sure where I’ll be spending the summer just yet. We’re actually looking at a few places this week. The short version? It’s a bit tangled right now, and I’m figuring it out as I go!
But that’s life. Timelines shift, plans change, and we adjust to make things work—which is what I’m trying to do.
What’s exciting is that none of this is bad. It’s actually all good things… just a little messy in the moment. We’re making plans, trying a few things, and seeing what I like. Until I know more, I’m holding off on sharing the details—but I promise, more to come!
What I can say is that I’ll be doing a lot of traveling this summer, and I’m really excited for that.
On a different note, I also wanted to touch on these favorites posts. Recently, a few of you have asked about the products I share. I only ever share things I truly love and use (or have used and loved), or things I’m genuinely excited to try. Do I own every single item I mention? No—but I’ll never recommend something just to make a commission. In fact, many of the links I include don’t earn anything at all.
These posts are meant to be fun—a peek into my life, my family, what I’m loving, buying, or thinking about. It could be anything from home decor to fashion, food, or travel. It’s just a big list of inspiration! So take what speaks to you, and leave the rest.
And that’s the update! Nothing major for now, but I know many of you have been wondering about the move—thank you, as always, for being curious and supportive.
